The Stage Neck Outdoor Pool & Tennis Club is a private membership club providing access to the outdoor pool, two red clay tennis courts, and parking for York Harbor Beach.
Guests staying at Stage Neck Inn can enjoy complimentary access to the private Outdoor Pool & Tennis Club during your stay.

Outdoor Saltwater Pool
The outdoor pool is open seasonally (generally Memorial Day weekend – Labor Day weekend). During the summer season, food & beverage service is available at the pool.
For the 2026 season, we completed a major capital renovation of our oceanfront outdoor pool – an ambitious project that reflects our ongoing commitment to both guest comfort and environmental responsibility. The most significant upgrade has been the conversion of our pool sanitation system from traditional chlorine to a modern salt treatment system.
This transition allows us to offer a more stable and predictable pool water environment to enhance our Guest’s swimming experience. Salt treatment systems of pool waters are gentler on the skin and eyes, eliminating the harsh effects and strong odors commonly associated with straight chlorine sanitization . Guests will now enjoy the refreshing ocean views while immersed in water that feels softer, cleaner, and more in harmony with the surrounding environment.
In addition to enhancing comfort, this upgrade supports a more sustainable approach to pool maintenance. The salt treatment system reduces the need for daily added chemicals, making it an eco-friendlier solution that aligns with our dedication to preserving the beauty of our oceanfront setting.

Stay active and work on your swing just a short walk from your room with two tennis courts which offer ocean and harbor views. Proper flat soled tennis shoes are required. Learn with our Pro, Lisa Wilcott! Private and group lessons available for hotel guests & Pool & Tennis Club members All ages and levels welcome.
Lisa Wilcott
RSPA Elite Tennis Pro & Certified Pickleball Professional
Lisa Wilcott is an RSPA Elite Tennis Pro, and a Certified Pickleball Professional. She served as Tennis Director for 30 years at the York Golf & Tennis Club in York Maine, and taught tennis for the past 2 years at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, RI.
Lisa is the New England RSPA President, she is on the USTA NE DE&I Committee, Board Member on Tennis Without Borders and teaches tennis in the winters in Barbados. Lisa does celebrity tennis clinics all over the US while not in Maine for the summer and loves teaching on the red clay courts at the Stage Neck Inn.
